KnoWEwell^®, the online Regenerative Whole Health™ community and marketplace, announced its partnership with the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM) this week. The IABDM is a network of dentists, physicians, and allied health professionals committed to integrating body, mind, spirit, and mouth in caring for the whole person.

According to the Executive Director of IABDM, Dr. Dawn Ewing, the organization was founded in 1985 by Ed Arana, DDS, and Gary Verigin, DDS, to show the public, dentists, and physicians that they need each other. Ewing, a naturopathic practitioner, Licensed Emergency Medical Technician, and author of Let the Tooth be Known, stresses the importance of the tooth-body connection and says health problems can be resolved through dentistry. Using holistic approaches such as ozone treatments and chelation therapy, IABDM goes beyond traditional standards to look at DNA to find the cause of periodontal disease and other dental issues.
