In this episode, Jeffrey talks about early Monsanto studies. Rats were fed GMO corn during a 90-day study. They developed serious issues in their physiology and Monsanto decided to hide those facts when the study was released. A former South African Monsanto scientist became concerned with GMO corn being fed to humans who, historically, had eaten corn as a regular staple in their diet.
One landowner/farmer was feeding his workers the GMO corn and many got sick with severe headaches, flu-like symptoms and inflammation; eventually, some of the workers died from eating the GMO corn.
