Additionally, Jeffrey draws parallels between the recent COVID-19 pandemic and the Avian bird flu for which scientists genetically modified the virus to make it airborne. This kind of genetic modification generated an uproar in the scientific community and raised the awareness of how altering DNA can become deadly.
