2021 Year In Review

News Briefs
Nov 23, 2024

2021 was a year of forward-thinking planning and progress for KnoWEwell on multiple fronts—technology, partnerships, content, marketing, volunteerism.

We soft-launched with a custom KnoWEwell.com marketing website, global community, and marketplace. Individuals join directly for Regenerative Whole HealthTM (RWH) benefits to find peace of mind and today’s trusted RWH knowledge, resources, and ecosystem collaborating to inspire and empower them to proactively prevent harm, address the root causes of chronic disease, and achieve WELLthier LivingTM. Practitioners join and are vetted so they can then be found in our trusted directories and recognized for their unique healing arts and expertise through multimedia publishing and amplification.

Our focus during 2021 was building quality educational programs and mission-aligned collaborative partnerships, implementing phase two of our technology roadmap, and surveying our stakeholders to optimize their experiences. We have used the feedback from each of our constituent groups to make enhancements, and we are releasing exciting content and engagement programs in 2022 to best serve our members.

KnoWEwell's key accomplishments in 2021 include:

  • Tom O’Bryan, DC, CDN, DACBN, joined as KnoWEwell’s first Chief Health Officer.
  • KnoWEwell’s Founder and CEO was honored as a Top 100 Visionary in Healthcare.
  • KnoWEwell employees and their families spent a glorious crisp fall day volunteering to help make Rodale Institute’s (a collaborative partner) "Fall on the Farm" event a roaring success.
  • Dr. Tom O'Byran and Madiha Saeed, MD, KnoWEwell’s Director of Education, along with Jane Lynn Britton, KnoWEwell’s Director of People Experiences, created over 50 educational programs with experts. These programs are free to the public when webcast live, and available on-demand for KnoWEwell members. [Access a selection of 2021 highlights here.]

KnoWEwell Educators

  • We implemented a learning management system for members to create and manage their own learning library. While KnoWEwell educational programs, as well as other practitioner courses, are made available to the public for purchase, KnoWEwell members receive valuable savings.
    1. Each course is price adjusted based on the member's country of origin in accordance with the World Data Bank.
    2. Silver and Gold members have access to KnoWEwell educational programs with a green dot in our Education Center at no additional cost.
    3. Silver members receive a 10% discount and Gold members receive a 20% discount on other practitioner-created courses and programs.
  • Inside the community, we soft-launched with 24 Topic Groups and have since expanded to over 85 Topic Groups and published over 500 written articles. Check out the 2021 insight article highlights here.
  • KnoWEwell expanded our unique 5 Pillars of Giving programs:KnoWEwell Five Pillars of Giving

  1. We now provide two memberships to people in need for each membership purchased.
  2. We created a funding program to help members in need cover the out-of-pocket costs of in-network KnoWEwell practitioner services and programs. With the help of our collaborative partner eFundYourHealth, we created The KnoWEwell Regenerative Whole Health Fund, a nonprofit fund to provide grants to underserved members.  We are giving 10% of net profits to this fund.
  3. In 2021 and 2020, KnoWEwell giving exceeded 10% of sales, plus in-kind services, to mission-aligned nonprofit collaborative partners. We are committed to giving 1% of net revenue for WELLthier Living to mission-aligned nonprofit partners and 1% for the Planet.
