2022 Massachusetts Pain Initiative’s Annual Pain Symposium
Massachusetts Pain Initiative (MassPI) holds one pain education symposium in the Fall. The symposium provides educational content that offer continuing education contact hours for various health care professionals, depending on the program. The virtual conference format provides more opportunities to feature guest speakers from around the country to provide pain education. Attendance at the live webinar is required to receive CE or CME credit.
The symposium will include the following sessions:
- The NIH HEAL Initiative: Combing the power of science and community, with keynote speaker Dr. Rebecca G. Baker, PhD, NIH HEAL Initiative Director of the Helping to End Addiction Long-term® Initiative, or NIH HEAL Initiative®, in the Office of the Director, NIH
- An integrative approach to chronic pain: Beyond the pills
- Vendor presentations
- Advances in pediatric pain management
- The role of exercise, meditation, and interdisciplinary care in pain management from a physiatrist perspective
