Hobby Beekeeping

Whether you’re a beekeeper, bee enthusiast, or just curious, Hobby Beekeeping is for you! The instructor will take participants through a step-by-step process of understanding the life and work ethic of the most amazing human food producers: the honeybee!

Topics covered in this one-day workshop will include honeybee biology and behavior, colony management, equipment, and management of pests and diseases. You’ll have a chance to work with live bees and see inside an operating hive.
