Field Walk Series: Reduced-Till Organic Corn
Organic rotational no-till is risky, but Junior Pfanstiel has been experimenting with different practices and varieties to maintain yields without sacrificing soil health. Please join a small group of farmers to see the changes in the field throughout the season, discuss equipment options and organic farming challenges, and build connections. This event is rain or shine.
Organic agronomist Ben Lehman will facilitate the field walks. Participants will be encouraged to share any questions, comments or concerns relevant to organic farming and organic transition.
